Our Aksu Natural Grey Transitional Rug portrays a raised grey nomadic tribal design pattern on a space dyed peach background, creating an authentic rustic yet modern feel.   The rustic and distinctive Antalya rug range features nomadic tribal designs in contemporary space dyed yarns. These yarns' unique space dying process allows each rug to have a different intensity, shade and character.   Consisting of a microfibre polyester pile, our Antalya Collection is table tufted in India and offers a unique high-low pile of soft raised and looped yarns, crafted into traditional designs.

This rug has a transitional & abrash design that is asymmetrical in colour & pattern.   The abrash* inspired design of this rug includes darker to lighter colour transitions, colour fading, colour striations & a colour distressing effect.  

*Abrash is a term used to describe colour variations that can occur naturally over time in a rug that has been woven from different lots of small dye batches.

Bunching/curling can occur due to many factors, including furniture/objects preventing the natural traffic movement of the rug, foot traffic & humidity. Bunching/curling can be exacerbated when a rug is placed on a surface such as carpet. Bunching/curling is not a defect.

Beautiful design, some quality flaws

A beautiful rug and relatively soft. I love the look of it in my lounge.
Unfortunately it does flatten quickly in traffic areas and sheds and pulls in places. I found hardened clumps of glue in two spots but only after having the rug down for just over a week.
