I received a message that it was being delivered Friday 21 Aug. I travelled over 60 km to be there fore the delivery on the Friday. I was tracking it Friday afternoon and the delivery truck was in the area for hours. And then right on 5.30pm the tracker disappeared. Very frustrating as I had to travel back up the next day. I think there should be some form of compensation for this. Regards Anthony

So happy with this rug, I was nervous ordering online but couldn’t be happier. Beautiful rug, not super soft but soft enough and a nice sturdy rug for heavy traffic and having pets so it seems like it’s going to be durable. Highly recommend.

Really lovely rug. Great colour with flecks which will show less dirt. Very low pile, but structured, so it doesn’t slip or roll-up. Very happy.

Ordered this rug from Lost Design Society and very pleased with the ease of ordering and communication from them regarding delivery! This rug excels in its description because it blends in perfectly , picking up the colour of couch!! Variety of sizes to choose from, very reasonable price and it is so soft to walk on ! FANTASTIC !!

The order and delivery process were excellent but, because I am not yet in my new build, the rug is still in the box it was delivered in. It is about two weeks too early for me to give a rating on what I think of it on my floor.

I bought two runners as I have a long hallway. They are the perfect colour, not too dark and the bits of cream just adds highlight. Lovely and soft with the underlays as I have a tiled floor.

Can’t describe how disappointed I’m in this rug. The color is completely different from the photos, it’s a dark brown color, looks dirty and cheap, ruined my living room.

Delivery was a nightmare. I took the day off to receive the rug, only got told that the driver couldn’t deliver because no parking. All my other furniture deliveries are managed to find parking, how strange! 🙄

Will never buy from this website ever again.

I ordered this rug in the larger size. Loved the one I had. The larger one came in an entirely different colour tone - more charcoal grey not neutral palate and the print was also zoomed up so that it lost its character. Overall looks cheaper and not at all what I expected. Must be a different batch or by a different manufacturer as they aren’t the same.

Initially loved this rug but Unfortunately after 6 months it just did not wear well. The ends kept rolling up no matter what we tried to keep them down and it’s stretched and out of shape! As much as I wanted to love this rug it just isn’t worth it.

The rug purchased was Navy, the rug that arrived was baby blue and not as described. After a long drawn out process over a month, with slow communication and a paypal dispute opened I was finally able to secure a full refund.

The rug was described as Blue and White, the rug is in fact Blue, Grey and White, I emailed them and was told the rug can be returned at my cost as a “change of mind” it’s not a change of mind the rug is not as described. $512 !!!! Not happy at all

Unfortunately this rug loses a lot of the shag pile on a daily basis. We thought the kids had been pulling the strands out but on closer inspection each strand of the pile is merely “threaded through”. There is no knot or anything to secure the strands in. I am guttered as I can imagine in 6 months time it will go from a Lustre Shag to a Lustre Rag. I do NOT recommend purchasing this.

We received our rug and once unrolled, we realised it was much darker and cooler in colour than the pictures suggest. I had chosen this rug as it appeared warmer and lighter than most of the others, however it is more of a grey/cool charcoal than anything else, which completely clashed with my other furniture. I sent an email advising of the colour difference and have had no response. We are very disappointed with the rug and the customer service that has followed.

Just received my rug. Very very muted and washed out colours. I expected more 'pop' based on the online advertised images. Kind of deceiving tbh. You would need amazing natural light piercing your room to come anywhere near the colour vibrancy as per their images. Yes, I get a rug will interact with different surroundings differently, but even so, its not even close.

This is the worst rug I’ve ever owned! It looked great at first but after 6 months looks like I’ve owned it for about 10 years. Constantly sheds, wool has come out do the weaves. I have owned it for 1.5 years and it is getting thrown in the bin! Contacted customer service and their response was “wool rugs shed.” You’re better off buying somewhere else.

Have been trying to organise a return for the past week. Cannot get in contact with anyone at LDS to arrange. Have tried via the website Contact Form, Emailed, Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM. No response. No number to call so my last resort is to leave a review.

No issues with the product and quality of the rug itself.
