This rug has a transitional & abrash design that is asymmetrical in colour & pattern.
The abrash inspired design of this rug includes darker to lighter colour transitions, colour fading, colour striations & a colour distressing effect.
Abrash is a term used to describe colour variations that can occur naturally over time in a rug that has been woven from different lots of small dye batches.

Our order arrived in 3 business days, so very happy with the prompt delivery. The picture shows the rug as a lighter colour, however in our living room the grey stands out a bit more and it's not as light and bright as the displayed photo which is a more cream colour rather than grey.
I've inquired about returns but it's too cumbersome and expensive so we didn't go down that path.
The rug is soft and feels good and we like the pattern. Just wish it were the lovely blue/cream colour as per pic.
