Our Chunky Natural Jute Barker Navy Rug from our Barker range is constructed from sustainably harvested jute, which is a fast-growing, renewable natural fibre. The strength of the fibres gives these rugs an added touch of durability.
These rugs are skillfully handmade in India and feature a chunky knit weave in a palette of nature inspired neutrals, navy and a splash of subtle colour.

Great quality and design
The colour is not intense and is actually quite easy to style/colour scheme. In certain lighting, it may appear as charcoal grey rather than a rich navy blue. The texture of the chunky weave is extremely visually appealing in person and I'll note that it also photographs really well. This rug will surprise you on how hard/bumpy it feels when you first walk on it. It's not uncomfortable, it's like a massage. I've had this rug in white for over a year now, and I can guarantee that you will get used to it, and it will soften beautifully over time.
