Each piece has varying amounts of distressing applied due to the hand tipped shearing process.
This Eternal collection has a polypropylene pile & cotton backing.
The hand tip shearing process exposes the cotton backing through the top of the rug, which helps to achieve the distressed look.
As each piece is tip sheared by hand, this results in each piece having varying amounts of rips, tears & loose threads.
This rug collection has been stonewashed & overdyed to add to the faded & vintage finish.

Just right in every way !
Love his design, it really ties my space together perfectly. The look of the rug is a bit more ‘distressed’ than it appears in the photos- though I was expecting this based on some other reviews, so I wasn’t disappointed. The rug has a few intentional tears, scratches, scuffs and missing threads. Perfect if you want an ‘old’ looking new rug.
Very happy with my purchase through Lost Design Society. I am already looking for my next rug!

We love it! For the price its so big and feels super durable. I knew it was low pile and that there would be added distress to make it look worn and vintage and they've done such a cool job of making it look textured! The patern and colours are beautiful and vibrant and it really ties our small space together and makes it look bigger! Super pleased!

We are so happy with our purchase. I was definitely a skeptic thinking it was to good to be true with the prices! However the quality is great and is just as it looks in the pictures. Have already recommended to work colleagues and friends.
Love the rug! Had a few whispy pieces around the edges we had to cut off though. We also bought the pad to go underneath to stop sliding but it doesn't work.
The design and colour are as pictured however the rug is very very thin and course. Wanted to return but the cost to return was very high and in the end we figured it will do while out kids are young as being so thin it does make it easy to clean.
