This rug has a transitional & abrash design that is asymmetrical in colour & pattern.
The abrash inspired design of this rug includes darker to lighter colour transitions, colour fading, colour striations & a colour distressing effect.
Abrash is a term used to describe colour variations that can occur naturally over time in a rug that has been woven from different lots of small dye batches.

It's a nice rug, but the colour is drastically different to what the picture shows, it's much more blue than I was expecting. It would be nice if they didn't up the contrast so much in the photo, it's quite misleading.
