This rug has a transitional & abrash design that is asymmetrical in colour & pattern.   The abrash inspired design of this rug includes darker to lighter colour transitions, colour fading, colour striations & a colour distressing effect.   Abrash is a term used to describe colour variations that can occur naturally over time in a rug that has been woven from different lots of small dye batches.

 

Bunching/curling can occur due to many factors, including furniture/objects preventing the natural traffic movement of the rug, foot traffic & humidity. Bunching/curling can be exacerbated when a rug is placed on a surface such as carpet. Bunching/curling is not a defect.

I love it! The rug is colourful but subtle and goes will all the quilt covers I have even my beautiful navy linen. Its feel is luxurious underfoot with the quality speaking for itself. Great rug, very happy with my purchase. Just wish I had a few more rooms that needed more rugs.
