I have been loving the simple life at home in Byron bay after travelling to burning man this year. Simplicity is so important to me, the simple things like mangos for dessert with eatable flowers on top, over rights any restaurant date. I am so blessed to live in a magical town surrounded by nature. I recently connected with Lost Design Society, a Melbourne based homewares online shop. I really connected with the company's concept of giving back a portion of their sales to the Hmong community in Thailand. This provides employment for the local Hmong women in Thailand.

Jye and I decided to do something totally different for our first date, we styled my backyard with these beautiful authentic Hmong cushions & colourful mandalas. Anyone could recreate their own back yard relaxed bohemian inspired date, we used a pallet as our dinner table & festoon lighting.

Life is so short, take the time to cherish your loved ones & make special memories that will last a lifetime! Let's be honest there's nothing more magical than two people sharing experiences together.

We had an amazing night under the stars. I really want to make the effort to utilise my tropical backyard more…. Yes, I live in the busy centre of town but fortunate to have a hide away in my back yard!
